About Avenue Biosciences. Avenue Biosciences is a biotechnology company dedicated to accelerating the discovery and development of protein biologics. Position. We are seeking a technical assistant / laboratory assistant for a biotechnology laboratory.

Duties include cleaning of laboratory dishes, autoclaving and other equipment maintenance tasks. Preparation of laboratory buffers. The job is part-time (16–20 hours per week) with a fixed-term (6–12 month contract).

We give you thorough training for your responsibilities, and our knowledgeable and competent staff will be there to support you. No training in the field is required for the position. The job is suitable for students and those interested in the field of biotechnology. The work is partly physical and needs initiative, accuracy, and speed. Some documentation on a computer is part of the job.

Paikasta. Haemme välinehuoltajaa/laboratorioapulaista biotekniikan laboratorioon Helsinkiin. Työtehtäviin kuuluu laboratorio-astioiden ja välineiden pesu, autoklavointi ja muita välinehuollon tehtäviä. Laboratoriopuskureiden valmistusta. Tehtävä on määräaikainen (6-12 kk sopimus) ja osa-aikainen 16-20 t/viikko.

Annamme tehtäviisi kattavan perehdytyksen, tukenasi on kokenut ja ammattitaitoinen henkilöstömme. Tehtävään ei vaadita alan koulutusta. Työ on sopiva opiskelijoille ja biotekniikan alasta kiinnostuneille. Työ on osittain fyysistä ja vaatii oma-aloitteisuutta, tarkkuutta ja ripeyttä. Työhön kuuluu jonkin verran dokumentointia tietokoneella.
